Staying around coin magic, here is a good tutorial showing a simple false transfer that will require a bit of practice to get down perfectly everytime. The presentator also discusses coin melting (coin through glass).

Keeping on the coin melting theories discussed in the video, it can be done using 3 coins .However two coins should be sufficient. Preferably at least one of the coins should be magnetic and the performer should be equiped with a neodynium magnetic ring (which has many interesting abilities such as stopping wristwatches and cellular phones).

You can see and find out for yourself how it is done in this (superb) video of Cyril Takayama (one of my favorite magician) where he does not only melt coins through but also inside a glass table he also forces a considerably big saltshaker through. Must see

It’s the very first time I see this coin trick, it’s pretty nice too and should probably be added in more coin routines.

I would suggest you try to snap with another finger when you finally make the coin vanish, this will add alot to the illusion.
